WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?
Psychotherapy is a professional relationship with a trained therapist - where they use counselling skills and therapeutic techniques to help clients overcome their challenges. In Ontario, therapy can be conducted by a psychiatrist, psychologist, registered psychotherapist, social worker, and some counsellors.
WHAT IS A REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST?
A registered psychotherapist (RP) is the designation in Ontario for the regulated profession of psychotherapy, through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
WHAT ARE THE RATES?
$140/hr
Offering 30, 60, and 90-minute sessions.

HOW DOES VIRTUAL THERAPY WORK?
Virtual therapy, or Telehealth therapy, is when a client can recieve mental health treatment from the comfort of a strong wifi connection. Therapy with CCP is held over a secure video link shared with your through your Jane.App account.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE TRAUMA-INFORMED?
To be trauma-informed means that the therapist has made it a priority to learn what trauma is, how it impacts people, and how to support someone. CCP believes it is paramount for therapists to be trauma-informed because every client is going to have some trauma as part of their story. Additionally, CCP is trauma-focused, which means we conceptualize our clients cases through a trauma-informed framework.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Our services are typically covered by most extended health insurance plans. We recommend you check with your provider on whether psychotherapy services are covered with your plan.
WHAT IS THE LATE CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY?
We ask for cancellation 24 hours in advance, otherwise it will result in a charge of 50% of the therapist fee. Additionally, if a client does not show up to their appointment (without extenuating circumstances), it will result in a charge of 100% of the therapist fee.
